Hi Rad and All,
I’m currently watching the EA teachings/further reading the Pluto II book on sexuality and relationship needs. When looking at the natal chart, specifically in regards to understanding and recognizing the client’s/person’s relationship needs, it’ my understanding that we are to begin with the 2nd, 7th, 12th house. This is the natural Yod from Taurus, Libra, and Pisces. Though, JWG does refer to 2nd, 7th, and 12th houses when learning about this dynamic within the natal chart with respect to the placement of Venus, Mars, their aspects in relation to their planetary rulers. I’ve heard multiple references and watched many beautiful teachings about this Yod from my favorite EA Astrologers, though I found myself asking more questions. Thank you in advance.
1) Through the EA lens, the houses have a more significant emphasis than the sign? Meaning, the house trumps the sign in terms of importance? It’s my understanding that the sign conditions how a dynamic is correlating and manifesting in a person’s life. Am I understanding this correctly?
2) When looking at the relationship needs in a natal chart, do we go to the 2nd, 7th, and 12th first? What if Taurus is not in the 2nd, Libra in the 7th, and Pisces not in the 12th? In this case, do we also go to Taurus, Libra, Pisces and synthesize the totality in terms of the relationship paradigm?
3) Are we looking at the sign that rules the 2nd, 7th, 12th house cusp? For example, if someone has Aquarius on the 2nd house cusp, though Pisces is in most of their second house, do we synthesis both or focus on Aquarius?
Perhaps I'm overcomplicating this process, though I understand this dynamic can present itself as complex for some natally.
Thank you…
Sending oceans of love,
Jordan
I appreciate you question here Jordyn. I too look forward to further understanding. As far as my learning goes w Patricia Walsh, Laura Nalbandian and Rose Marcus - what you have indicated is part of the whole delineation. Let’s see what Rad determines. Certainly the Synastry and Composite charts play at the next level.
Hi Jordyn,

It is not a matter of importance about sign/house. It is a matter of remembering that the houses correlate to the fundamental structure of consciousness for the Soul relative to the archetypes of each house. A sign on a house then conditions the natural archetypes of a given house by way of it's own archetypes. So if a chart has Aries on the 3rd house it is then conditioning that natural archetypes of that 3rd house. So, yes, your understanding that the sign on a given house is conditioning that house is correct.

In this case, do we also go to Taurus, Libra, Pisces and synthesize the totality in terms of the relationship paradigm?

YES. And within that all the aspects that are made to the natural planetary rulers of those signs.

3) Are we looking at the sign that rules the 2nd, 7th, 12th house cusp? For example, if someone has Aquarius on the 2nd house cusp, though Pisces is in most of their second house, do we synthesis both or focus on Aquarius?

In this case both archetypes are operative yet Aquarius would be conditioning Pisces.
God Bless, Rad
Is this still going ahead? I was so excited for it!
