Hi Rad and All,
I was thinking about starting a thread where we can comment on current transits as they occur, hope it is ok.
With that in mind I was noticing the new year will start with a stellium at the end of Capricorn with Venus and Pluto exactly conjunct at 27 degrees but also asteroid Lucifer will be there at the same degree and mercury retrograde at 23 degrees, and asteroid Lilith in Virgo exactly trine mercury (it's own ruler). All this planets are in new conjunction to Pluto's south node at 20º degrees. Saturn is at 22 Aquarius and mercury/lilith are still trining Uranus at 15 taurus.
What occurs to me is that this is time where we should remember and recover our resilience and self-determination to move forward, at the same time we pay attention to patterns of self-defeat and fragmentation that could lead to a sense of depression and loss of meaning, because seeing asteroid Lucifer right at the stellium can make things appear much worse than they are. And with lilith mercury, it seems feminine energy, the true and natural nature of the feminine can really serve as healing to the mind and soul. So a duality in trusting the self and distrusting some of the messages, where the truth can be seen in the real natural essence of ourselves.
I wonder if anyone has any other thoughts on these transits.
Wishing All the best for the new year,
Helena
Hi Helena,
Great idea. Sure hope others will feel drawn to participate.
God Bless, Rad
Hi Helena & All,
Yes, I agree, such a wonderful idea.
This is always a natural time for deep reflection as another year comes to a close. We inevitably re-visit roads traveled and think about how we have been tested and grown. So much earth at the end of December speaks to the need for getting real, and for making the very most of every moment, now and in the future. Time really feels to be flying by.
Venus in Capricorn conjuncts Mercury at the exact degree on Friday, Dec. 29, as Mercury stations retrograde at 24 degrees of Capricorn, suggesting that personal values may be morphing as we pull into 2023. As a result, we will be re-thinking and re-prioritizing how we spend our time and how we dedicate our energy. With this pairing conjunct Pluto, fated intersections and karmic turns are likely, as well as the potential for purging and clearing old layers of resistance (as a result of fear and conditioning) that are getting in the way of Soul growth.
It is an empowering trinity with Pluto, Venus, and Mercury in Capricorn all trining Original Lilith in Virgo, generating a natural flow of energy where more of the natural feminine emerges so a healing balance can be restored. (Helena, you mentioned the importance of paying attention to patterns of self-defeat and fragmentation that could lead to a sense of depression and loss of meaning) I agree, and thankfully, there is an even stronger energy available to combat these tendencies for those who harness it with self-determination.
With Lucifer in this Capricorn mix, be mindful of self-undermining thoughts that may have you questioning key hurdles you have recently cleared. Given that the strong Cap stellium is cardinal, it will be natural to experience a two steps forward, one step back process, so give yourself the time you need to drop in deep while doing the necessary inner work so you can move forward with more freedom.
We begin the New Year with Mercury, Mars and Uranus all retrograde, signifying a slower entry into 2023, where this inversion of energy allows for a more objective look at where we have been denying ourselves a full expression of our nature. These retrogrades will likely point to where you may have felt challenged to grow in the past but where personal liberation can now be found.
Happy New Year & Goddess Bless,
Kristin
What a lovely thread to start, Helena-so curious to hear other’s thoughts as well!
It is intersting to me that there are quite a few parallels to the transits for the last New Year:
The prior New Year (Jan 1, 2022), Venus (conjunct Mercury) was retrograde at 23 degrees Capricorn, and in a balsamic conjunction to Pluto. Uranus was retrograde, and Jupiter had just begun its journey into the sign of Pisces.
This coming New Year, Mercury (conjunct Venus) will be retrograde at the exact same degree, 23 degrees Capricorn, also in a balsamic conjunction to Pluto. Uranus will similarly be retrograde, and Jupiter is just beginning its journey into the sign of Aries.
It almost seems as though we are getting an energetic imprinting of sorts on these New Years as Pluto finishes up its tour of Capricorn.
It feels to me as though we are gifted a real opportunity to get very clear in order to identify and clean up some very real karma around how we are choosing to relate to and commune with ourselves and others on all levels: personal, interpersonal, and societal.
it’s as if we are in a sling shot that is slowly being pulled back with an opportunity to carefully aim before we are launched towards this impending new horizon.
Blessings,
Bess
Hi Helena,
I love this thread idea and I also love your reflection on the grasshopper in conjunction with these astrological energies.
I do think that this is an adjustment period for us all to go within. This is reflected in the yod with the SN, Mars, and the Sun. To me this symbolizes a need to make correct judgments and choices that reflect our own inner values and how we integrate those. Also, with Mercury retrograde a part of this stellium and the ruler of Mars, that there is a choice and commitment needed in order for the adjustment to occur. To do something differently. It reflects the need to "walk our talk" so to speak. In order to have integrity there must be personal responsibility of prior choices and alignment with new personal values as we shed and liberate/rebel the old. In order for this to be done, there is a need to enact natural authority by asking and answering our own questions about how to go about doing just that stemming from the need to lean in to the intuition. Ultimately, this helps to evolve the collective seeing as Uranus is retro and ruled by Venus in Capricorn at this time.
Through this Venus transit in Capricorn and it being the ruler of Uranus in Taurus right now, the indigenous term keeps coming to the forefront of my mind, "AkiKin". This is a word that means "Earth/Land Family". As Venus moves into Aquarius after the New Year and is in mutual reception with Uranus this term becomes even more powerful in my eyes. The work that is done on a personal level through commitment and responsibility within the collective will then set the stage for us to practice this inner work done. Ultimately, helping the "tribe/community".
I also feel that these transits prior to Venus moving into Aquarius symbolize a time where there is a real opportunity for people to lay groundwork and new structures by taking responsibility for their choices as their limitations are confronted (Mercury/Venus/ Pluto conjunction). This has to be done through honest eyes and commitment to forgive self and others from prior choices (Capricorn stellium sextile Neptune/Juno Conjunction). The groundwork laid now from going within and being accountable to self and discerning what needs and values need to be shifted, and ultimately met by self will continue to occur as Venus and Uranus are in mutual reception. This can occur by constantly being confronted with our own inner status quo, and the liberation that occurs through objectivity and detachment from prior experiences.
The other thing that I have been understanding about Mars retrograde is that there is a need to be responsive and not reactive to what we choose to do. To pause and reflect on the choices wanting to be made, then having the courage to do so when the intuition kicks in. Through this, then one can make an action towards choosing a different path, through that then external feedback can be garnered as a way to learn more about the self, new values, and needs, as a way to experience the wisdom that is needed that can only come through the Capricornian direct experience seen within the stellium occurring.

Hi Helena and all,
This post has been very insightful so thank you for starting and for everyone providing their insights. Such a great way to learn together! :)
Helena - I also have my natal Moon at 25 degrees Capricorn, therefore this Pluto and Lucifer transit has been a big one for me too. This all got me thinking about this particular transit and I wanted to share something I read in JWG's book on "Lucifer: The Influence of Evil in the Horoscope" and about Lucifer's transit through Capricorn which I feel may also help others:
"The influence of Lucifer in Capricorn within the individual itself is a perpetual feeling of being a crappy person: "I've done something wrong. I'm so guilty. I must suffer." It's that kind of psychology that actually creates circumstances that validate or prove what the person is inwardly feeling. If we look at the opposite sign as the direction for our way out, where would the Bearer of Light come through in this scenario? How could they tune into God through that symbol if Lucifer is in Capricorn? Through the Cancer polarity. What does it become? What's the message" The whole message of Cancer is to strip away all the need for social power and acceptance and to go deep inside to find the meaning that you're seeking. It's to penetrate to the mystery and veil of your own Soul, and to rebuild yourself from the inside out; that's the message. From a spiritual view, in many of those cases, it would mean to orient oneself to some sort of spiritual system that's emphasizing the Divine Mother or femininity, vs. the archetypal Father God." (page 122)
As we all find ourselves at this time experiencing this transit, it's important to remember that the Bearer of Light is also present in this archetype and ultimately we are all being called to turn inwards even more and seek the security we desire from within.
Sending you all positive vibes and best wishes for the year ahead.
Rav
Hi Helena and all,
I think this is a great idea and plan to participate. I resonate with all that has been shared so far! In my view, deep reflection and inversion of energy indicated by the transits already mentioned can provide an opportunity for us all to objectify and then liberate from outdated patterns that have become crystallized. This is signified by the ruler the stellium of planets in Capricorn is Saturn in Aquarius, and transiting South Node in Scorpio. In so doing, we can grow beyond our current limitations, and learn from the past as to make better choices for the future.
The key is self effort to manifest our inner resources in transformed, or altered, way than in the past In so doing, a necessary self-reliance and a shift in focus towards sustaining the whole takes hold. This is symbolized by the North Node in Taurus conjunct Uranus. With Jupiter just entering into Aries this can lead to new beginnings for us all !
Namaste,
Deva
Hello All,
I was wanting to continue this discussion on the transits. This past week Venus squared the nodal axis as Mars was stationing and in a conversation with the South node and Mercury (still retro).
To me this symbolizes a time to go back and to observe and objectify our own psychology pertaining to how we have been meeting our needs, whether that be through others or through ourselves. Then through this objectification, we are able to continue to challenge our own status quo of self and where we have been compliant in resistance. Meaning, where we have been relying on others instead of ourselves to meet these needs. This gives all of us the awareness as to how to go about making new choices on how to continue to commit to ourselves and our evolution.
I also think that it is interesting that on the 21st we will have a new moon in Aquarius passing over those same degrees that Venus just did as she squared the nodal axis. During this New Moon, Venus will conjunct Saturn. Mars and Mercury will now be direct and in a "yod" with the South Node, and the New Moon will be in an out of sign conjunction with Pluto, and also, the New Moon will sextile Jupiter being ruled by that Mars in Gemini.
This symbolizes to me that as we gain more clarity about our inner psychological and emotional nature, we are able to form new choices that are in alliance with new belief structures that are forming as we clear out the "old way" of doing things (New Moon sextile Jupiter pulling in the yod). This only comes through being able to objectify how we have gone about doing this in the past, and by making necessary action as a way to create a counter reaction to learn further about ourselves. It takes a conscious effort to look at this inner content and to liberate from the projections and distortions of getting our needs met through how we have been conditioned to do this.
There are two steps forward, one step back approach to this as the New Moon will be conjunct with Pluto. In order to make new space we must first go back and look at prior choices that stem from how we made judgment calls.
However each soul is working with the archetypes of this New Moon and the current transits, if it is done by the conscious effort of leaning into these dynamics, it can then clear space for new values and needs ( pulling in the North node and mutual reception with Venus/Uranus). Then through this determination we are all being asked to be self-reliant in meeting those needs.
It's also interesting to note that an asteroid I work with called Sophrosyne will be conjunct Ceres in Libra at this time. This trines the New Moon. Sophrosyne is the asteroid that speaks to how we gain temperance or balance. How the patriarchy has distorted what that entails. With her trine the New Moon with Ceres conjunct to her, to me this seems that we are all being called to recover how we go about inwardly and outwardly relating to ourselves and others as a way to gain temperance/ Sophrosyne. This can only be done through the above mentioned dynamics. Being able to outwardly relate to others without abandoning ourselves in doing so. Through this process we can gain new structures within our consciousness as to how to be in neutrality or balance (Venus conjunct Saturn, ruled by Uranus). But first, it takes the conscious effort to look at oneself honestly (Jupiter sextile new moon, and New Moon square South Node), then to make new choices (Mars ruling Jupiter and in a yod with Mercury and South node). This speaks to the realignment process for those who consciously strive towards these dynamics.
I would love to hear other's thoughts on these transits as a way to keep this thread going. I know I got a lot out of reading this the last time we all spoke and gave our own insights.
Much love and gratitude,
Jordyn
Hi Jordyn,
Thank you for your insights and for keeping this thread going- it’s a good one! We had a slower start to the year with Mercury, Mars and Uranus all retrograde, which allowed us the opportunity to reassess the status quo and how we wanted to organize ourselves and move forward in a new way in the New Year.
This New Moon in Aquarius feels like the New Moon that can help us precipitate the conclusions we have come to over the last several weeks, and give us the boost we have been waiting for. Mars (which is bursting with energy trining the New Moon) and Mercury are now direct, and Uranus will station direct the following day (1/22).
To your point, Mars and Mercury will be active in a yod with the South Node, so while we have had the opportunity to form the ideas of how we want to move forward in the energy of this New Year, it may feel a little uncomfortable at first enacting change. Jupiter squaring Mercury advises us to not bite off more than we can chew or set unrealistic goals for ourselves (and others) in how we go about operating in the new ways we have elected.
I feel that with this New Moon in Aquarius conjunct Pluto, we are granted the opportunity and the resolve to implement the deep changes our souls have been and continue to call for.
Blessings,
Bess
Hi Jordyn, Bess, Deva, All,
Great to see our thread picking up. I share the reflection on this current transits where so many planets are and will make aspects that can create temporary skipped steps. All you bring is very helpful and important to contemplate. Just to add to what you have shared, venus has initiated the nodal square then will be followed by moon, sun, asteroid Lucifer and mercury. I do see that this can function too as a great time to naturally detach from unnecessary drama, people and situations that are not part of the new lives and futures people are now entering and have been building for a while. This is a defining moment where it will be easier to choose the new (Jupiter is in aries after all) and I do see that old situations might resurface where this planets in Aquarius, specially venus, will facilitate the need to observe much more than getting involved on what is no longer part of a meaningful path for each one of us, having in mind that the grand trine with ceres and mars supports individual paths that can function in benefit of the whole. That is for sure. I agree so much with what Deva shared on the resolution node and think that one part of this process of going back to move forward in a self-sufficient way, many times really relies first on a detached identification of what we do not need and by not getting involved, this things will fall by themselves, and with the scorpio Aquarius square, be gone for good if we so choose to.
One good example that surfaced this beginning of the year (catching up from the beginning of the thread) was the story of Greta Thunberg, apparently, having been inadvertently responsible for the detention one of the world's most dangerous misogynists (here is the story ) https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2022/dec/31/greta-thunberg-andrew-tate-tweet
She has a lot of Capricorn and mercury rx at 28 Cap is her NN ruler, and here she is by the sheer power of her soul, being such a bearer of light. Also she has natal asteroid Lilith right at the galactic center. This story is one in which she is truly the messenger of the Goddess.
Also, having in mind that this grande trine with mars, ceres and the Aquarius planets and the conjunction to the neptune south node, this can be such a great time to listen to the Uranian messages on this need to detach from old roles and situations and conversely getting involved in ways that are grounded, simplified and effortless. We are now in the time frame where we're wired to a much higher view point and where we can both recover this "phone line" to have direct contact with Source, start a new cycle or Spring - CERES, with new ways of thinking which can bring us a more balanced life. One thing that can result from this process is that first we can get a very clear picture of how our old thinking shapes our reality, the square to Scorpio south node, and make an effort to detach from thoughts that do not support our future, and to integrate them in more positive mental structures that can stay for the future - Saturn now leaving Aquarius.
Also, relative to what Deva mentioned about how we can now join relationships from a state of self-sufficiency, is also seen with the Jupiter Juno conjunction in Aries, right where mars conjuncted Jupiter last Spring.
And still about the resolution node, the node last conjuncted by this planets, it is interesting to see EA in not an abstract form but our current lives, by having in mind that this planets now making squares to the nodes made a conjunction to the south node in last November at the solar and lunar eclipses. So we now have this issues coming to resolution and integration hopefully.
With the touch on Neptune's south node and asteroid Lucifer in Aquarius it would also be mindful no to be given much energy to deluded escape routes that may show up as "perfect" gateways out of nowhere, specially if they show up on the internet ;-)
A beautiful day to All,
Helena
Hey all, here to share what I'm seeing in the transits, at least as of today, the 18th of Jan.
So it looks like the Moon's nodes are squaring the nodes of Neptune, hitting exact around the last full moon. Me and Jordyn spoke a bit about the full moon in the EA view episode for Capricorn, though at the time I did not focus on the nodes of Neptune. Funny that because Neptune is so elusive and yet all pervasive in the consciousness, both in the microcosm and the macrocosm of our individual and collective reality.
Neptune itself, being in Pisces, is ending a cycle with regard to how we all are able to navigate the physical reality as spiritual beings living in human form. And yet we see with its South Node being in Aquarius that there has been much static accumulated within the frequency of the individuated unconscious for most people. So much so, that the objectivity of Aquarian/Uranian/11th house energy, where ever it shows up in the chart for a person will be experiencing a necessary challenge in seeing objectively, and the illusion that one is seeing clearly/objectively will also exist in many cases. This is further emphasized by the fixed nature of the grand cross between the moon's nodes and Neptune's -- identifying with one's illusions - one can either double down and root into a false sense of self, blindness, or they may be in the process of a crisis in consciousness wherein the veils on their consciousness are being removed - so many possibilities as to how this will play out being that everyone is at different stages on their path. What is more, with Lucifer balsamic to Neptune's South Node and approaching a tighter square with the Moon's Nodes the emotional manipulation that Lucifer is inclined to employ may be hard to **feel** due to the nature of Aquarian energy. With Uranus in Taurus and the stress so many are under due to survival fears (etc) makes it even more challenging to ground and feel, and yet it seems to be exactly where the collective will benefit, heal and grow. But wait, there's even more! Then if you see that Venus is balsamic to Saturn, also both in Aquarius, we can see a culmination of survival fears with regard to betrayals and misuses of power (Moon's SN in scorpio) that have resulted in traumatization -- seems a lot of this is coming up for people and there is quite a risk to cling to the past and rely on habits of of the past to cope with the staticky undertone of panic that is playing out in the background all around. Hardening the heart (opposition to Leo) is something to be aware of, how it deafens the ears and blinds the eyes, numbs the body from feeling pain and pleasure (square to Taurus archetypically) .Given the nature of how Aquarius has developed in the human collective other manifestations that are the go-to at present include - the risk of cliquish behaviour (no coincidence that the Davos summit is happening during this transit), otherism, cancel culture, lack of compassion for people outside of one's group/community bubble, projections onto those who attempt to further their own or others individuation (aka go into the unknown) come up. This can happen in so many aspects of individual and collective life that it would be a novel in itself to describe all the possibilities. Lucifer, especially in a new phase to Pluto in Cap seems to be quite the devil whispering into the minds of people, confusing many into thinking they see clearly, when in fact they just may be creating the opposite outcome to what they want. North node of Neptune in Leo speaks from such a disconnect from the Divine, saying "No one gets to be special but ME! No one who is different or unpleasing to me gets to shine!" +Pluto in Cap and you get..."You have to do things MY way! I'm right! You're wrong. I refuse to empathize because you're beneath me, unworthy of being heard. I will make no attempt to understand where you're coming from. You OFFEND me! And for that the punishment is... EXILE (aka Scorpio + Capricorn which is akin to death over time, at least as far as the ancestral memory is concerned, hearkening back to that Neptune SN in Aquarius -- ) muhuhwahaha" (ahem, pardon me) With the above being connected to Neptune via its current sign of Pisces the above diatribe will be even more subtle and difficult to notice within oneself, and being that Neptune's north node is ruled by the Sun, there is an attempt by Nature to bring individuals to creative self actualization, though illusions related to pride may be ore pronounced until the time for disillusionment arrives...
Seems Mars travelling back through it's shadow path can benefit from diversifying what it knows, gather information and learn from a variety of sources and languages, especially the kind of languages that speak from a deeper strata which lies beneath the deeply repressed and distorted emotions that obfuscate the truth behind the words spoken in the way one has been conditioned to use (Cap Mercury). With Mercury stationing direct and balsamic to Pluto Hygeia, and the Sun, the ability to "read between the lines" is part of the purification process, it seems. Speaking of Hygeia in Cap -- she is balsamic to Pluto, which appears to echo the benefit of cleansing conditioning that has taught one to judge a book by its cover, conditioning that has taught one to be lacking in compassion, especially for those who seem "foreign" to them, not of their nation or culture, or gender. There is much opportunity to make headway in healing age old scars that have accumulated to the point of creating blindness (going back to the grand fixed cross between Neptune's Nodes and the Moon's). To choose to see clearly above all else, to choose Good over Evil every time the opportunity is noticed will produce beneficial results. This will all contribute to the Pluto ingress into Aquarius manifesting auspiciously.
Regarding what was said about Hygeia in this post, Uranus in new phase to the Moon's North Node and full phase opposite to the South Node of the Moon echoes healing and strengthening opportunities - To get back into the body, to learn how to be with the body but not be sucked into the story the body tells. To provide presence and space to cultivate homeostasis. From there the body can tend to itself and release somatic knots/scars. This, in turn, improves the integrity of the connection to the soma, which is necessary to perceive reality clearly + objectively, both in the microcosm (inner world) and the macrocosm (outer world). This seems especially relevant given the next sign Uranus will be transiting through is Gemini . And considering Pluto in Aquarius... this is a time of preparation so that the body is grounded enough to work through what is to come with two root chakra planets moving into Air energy.
I have been thinking about evil & how it 'works' it just turns out that the current Lucifer is on my Lucifer NN in Aquarius - a curtsy to Lucifer for that! Well well.
Anyway - as it turns out the current north node of Lucifer are dancing with Neptune's node.....& Saturn is waltzing with the SN.....
I can try to dig it out - but, Rad has spoken of the inner star, if you will, the inner universe & what is perceived as the 'outer' universe: Leo/Aquarius
The bearer of Light, & the instigator of Evil are in that 'star' axis: Leo/Aquarius as we are just barely moving into that age......of Aquarius.
I can only think of Jesus words - to not be bothered by the mote in another's eye: keep your eye on the mote within your own eye - Evil tries to make you believe, well, a lot of things but mostly that you have no 'power' that it's all outside of you to be given or taken away: that's not true.....that's Evil's greatest illusion, delusion & trick.
Don't bother with another's 'evil' be bothered by your own, & then let the light of God burn that away, within yourself.
Hi Rad and All,
Rad, I am trying to correlate this earthquake that has occurred in Turkey and Syria with the geodetics but this is something I would like to ask you for I can't quite grasp well. As far as my understanding goes, this part of the world would be correlating with middle degrees taurus, so it was directly activated by the Uranus transit (and Saturn leaving Aquarius) and the timing of activation the full moon at 16 degrees Leo/Aquarius. Would this be correct?
Thank you,
Helena
Hi All,
I wanted to post what I wrote about the upcoming Lunar Eclipse happening at 14° Scorpio as I also want to keep this post alive. Hopefully more will comment on it.
Much Love,
Jordyn
Pluto in the sign of Aquarius while this Lunar Eclipse is occurring packs a punch as it is the Moon's ruler and ruler of the Eclipse happening in the sign of Scorpio, and also, the ruler of the South Node in Scorpio which it is square to. Pluto in Aquarius is about objectifying our reality and observing ourselves so that way we understand what we must throw off internally and the external conditions. It also speaks to liberation from a variety of conditioning factors and the need to challenge the inner status quo and what constitutes our inner security, where we have over self-identified with something, and to shed the skins of the past. Pluto in Aquarius is about community and finding our "tribe", but Jeffery Wolf Green (Evolutionary Astrology Founder) also taught about Pluto in Aquarius being the inner community. The place in ourselves where we find the inner community, and liberating from anything that keeps us from experiencing and understanding our true selves. Thus, Pluto in Aquarius archetypically relates to our own individuality, our undistorted and unconditioned most natural selves. What does it mean to know your own intrinsic unique self without any external conditioning? Pluto in Aquarius also correlates to the trauma that we experience from not knowing or being whom we naturally are in the most unique sense. Thus, the need to liberate from the conditioning that perpetuates the separation of knowing whom we are individually on a soul level. During this Pluto retrograde cycle dig deeply, observe yourself, and observe the conditioning linked to behaviors, needs, values, and beliefs. Rediscover whom you are in your most natural state.
The Eclipse is happening on Friday, May 5th at 12:34 PM Central Standard Time. This is a lunar eclipse happening in the sign of Scorpio, ruled by that Pluto in Aquarius. Lunar Eclipses occur when there is a full moon occurring within the orb of the Moon's nodes. Lunar Eclipses can bring deep transformation that can be ignited by sudden changes or events. They also serve as an evolutionary juncture for our own individual evolutionary growth. The Lunar Eclipse speaks to dynamics of an emotional nature that have been culminating for some time and are now being brought into the light of our consciousness symbolized by the Sun opposing the Moon (Full Moon). Eclipses are also more powerful for the people who experience a direct aspect to one of their natal chart placements or within a few degrees of it. So, if you are someone who has something at 14° Scorpio or in the fixed signs (Taurus, Scorpio, Aquarius, Leo) then the probability of this being activated within you is tenfold. Eclipses symbolize a 6-month time period of what we are to be working on from an evolutionary standpoint that helps us to continue to evolve. So, what is this Lunar Eclipse activating and trying to bring to the light of day for us all? Let me begin with the Moon, Pluto the ruler, the lunar nodes, and then work my way out bringing in the other planetary and astrological conversations occurring while this Eclipse is happening.
The Moon in Scorpio brings forth a need to penetrate and get to the bottom of our emotional body (what constitutes inner security, what is known and familiar, and the psychological influences) and move past any type of limitations preventing further growth. The need is to not only penetrate but to analyze our psychology and emotional bodies in order to understand the depths of ourselves on a soul level. The Moon in Scorpio being Full can bring up emotional dynamics stemming from where we have felt emotionally abandoned, betrayed, or haven't had discernment around whom to trust and whom not. This also can bring forth areas within our psychology and emotional body that relate to our sexuality, where we choose to merge our resources and whom to do that with. It can bring in the polarity of Taurus, the survival instinct and the ways in which prior experiences in our lives have been a catalyst for our survival instincts to kick in (fight, flight, freeze, & fawn) and the behavioral and emotional dynamics that have perpetuated from misuse of trust and power, whether it be us or others. This also brings forth emotional dynamics of other's and our own hidden motivations and manipulations as to how we are getting our own security needs met. The Moon in Scorpio reflects the emotional dynamics of where we are resisting or cooperating with our own evolution and the need to dive into the swells of our emotional oceans within and to metamorphose prior experiences as a way to come out a completely different person. With Scorpio linked to the Soul itself, that means that it is also linked to Karma. Karma can be positive and/or negative, so this a time period where Karmic dynamics and Karma itself can come forth and expose itself to us. This serves all of us to allow us to understand the correct and incorrect use of power (Scorpio). The need with this Full Moon Eclipse is to dive deeply and to get to the bottom of all of our emotional patterns and security needs that create resistance within the soul itself. With the Moon being ruled by Pluto in Aquarius we are called to objectify our emotions as we are uncovering them and what psychological patterns that manifest from these emotional dynamics. What conditioning in your life has shaped whom you are today, and what does liberating from that conditioning really expose within? Whom are you naturally? How has the conditions from prior relationships and dynamics affected you and what healing needs to occur?
With Pluto, the Moon's ruler being in Aquarius and in a T-square to the Nodal Axis of Scorpio/Pisces, we are called to focus on the Scorpionic dynamics of getting to the bottom of all of our emotional and psychological tendencies that stem from conditioning and trauma. It is interesting to think about how conditioning can be a source of our trauma. We have to be objective to view it that way. One example is colonization and how that conditioning has played a part in a preponderance of trauma. Through observing our own emotional dynamics objectively, we can understand how that conditioning has affected what constitutes our security, thus what has constituted our needs and values. With Pluto in Aquarius ruled by Uranus in Taurus, we are looking at how that conditioning has affected our relationship to self. How we inwardly relate. What experiences have you had in relationships with others that has created trauma in your life and how has that affected how you value yourself or your ability to meet your own needs? Another call is to look at our upbringing and the familial karmic dynamics that conditioned us on what our needs were and how we value ourselves to really be able to get to the bottom of these dynamics. For some this can be resisted because we can feel close to our families and resist looking at these internal dynamics because it constitutes our own security. Were your parents able to meet your needs when you were younger? Did your family of origin indoctrinate you into values that aren't resonating with you anymore or on a Soul level? How has this affected you on an emotional level?
With Uranus in a new phase conjunction to the Sun, childhood can be coming up for many right now. There can be a deep need to objectify how our upbringing has affected us in the here and now and to look at if it has affected our self-worth and our own dignity, our willingness or lack of to go out into the world and to persevere and to shape our own destiny's. Jupiter is sextile (Crescent phase) to Venus in Gemini, the ruler of all of the Taurus energy right now. So, there is a call to look at how our beliefs have affected how we have valued ourselves and our emotional dynamics, since Jupiter is ruled by Mars in Cancer. There is a call to act on the need to integrate new values, needs, and a personal philosophy that matches our inner truth as opposed to a belief. With Venus in Gemini in mutual reception with Mercury retrograde there is a call to really "tap into" how we are inwardly relating through listening to our inner voice and thoughts. Through doing so we can understand more about ourselves and our natural truths. Within the Crescent phase there is the potential for us to be able to integrate all that has come before if we have the willingness to look at the ways in which we learned prior, and to make a choice to relearn and recontextualize how we are inwardly relating through understanding ourselves more deeply. The key is to pay attention to the inner voice and if it is negative, the willingness to counteract the negativity with positive self-thought and talk. This takes a conscious effort to do so but the reward for it can be the gift of healthy self-esteem and self-reliance. We can't be self-reliant if we are looking to others to fix us or if we are not willing to understand whom we are in the here and now. Within the Crescent Phase sextile there is the ability to resist doing the inner work necessary, because of what is "known and familiar" from the past, our conditioning, but with Jupiter in Aries we can find the fighting spirit to do so, and to be courageous in our efforts for the rewards of those efforts speak the prayer of a healthy relationship to self rooted in emotional validation and inner security (Mars in Cancer ruling Jupiter). With Venus also being ruled by Mercury retrograde we can have a revision and relearning of our needs. This can only be done by diving into the underbelly of our emotional dynamics and the willingness to explore. What would it take for us all to feel inwardly secure? When we can learn and expand upon this, the integration can then occur, by simply getting to know ourselves.
Jupiter is in a first quarter square to its ruler, Mars in Cancer. The call to act on the soul's desires of diving deeply into the emotional body can be creating an inner friction for some because it can challenge our emotional security. Diving into the emotional body allows Jupiter to expand our consciousness by allowing us to understand not only our natural truths, if we have the courage to do so, but also allows us to see the difference between a belief about ourselves versus a natural truth about ourselves. Jupiter in this astrological conversation to its ruler, Mars in Cancer speaks to the benefits of our sincerity and authenticity if we have the willingness to be honest with ourselves with what is going on deep inside. This is also speaking to relying on your "gut" and intuition about what it is we feel called to expand upon within our emotional dynamics. This is a time to bring forth our warrior energy within in order to understand deeply what is going on in the underbelly of our souls. Through doing so we can act upon what is unique and individual about our own inner emotional landscape.
Chiron in Aries is also in a first quarter square to its ruler, Mars in Cancer. Chiron speaks to wounds within that will always be tender but can serve as soul medicine. With Chiron in Aries, we are called to initiate the willingness to be vulnerable with ourselves about our emotional wounds. Chiron speaks to the places within us that evoke emotions long after we think we are done with the trauma or hurt that occurred. This means that we can hear a song or smell something that evokes an emotional memory held within, and Chiron square its ruler Mars, says to lean into that tender area. Don't repress or resist getting to know and make friends with our wounds. The healing comes from recontextualizing how we relate to the wound, but in order to do so we have to meet that wound face to face. Allowing ourselves to feel fear, anger, sadness, or grief about whatever has occurred in the past. By allowing ourselves to feel and make friends with this dynamic, we can alter our relationship with the wounding that occurred. Self-leadership is the prayer of Chiron in Aries, and that can only come when we have the ability to initiate change with how we understand the "why" of our emotional dynamics stemming from our hurt and our pain. Through this understanding we get to bring forth resilience and the warrior spirit that inhabits the very fiber of each one of our beings. There can be massive tension around the willingness to act on diving deeply into these places, through doing so we can understand how the wounding has affected how we self-identify, and the parts of our wounds that we are overly identified with that create and perpetuate more hurt for ourselves and sometimes for others. All emotions are good emotions as long as they aren't repressed, they speak to the places in us where we can have an understanding, through understanding we get to experience joy in places we might have felt we never would. With Jupiter and Chiron square to Mars in Cancer, their ruler, we not only get to expand upon these experiences in a new way, but we also can see that there is in fact a light at the end of the tunnel that only comes through the understanding of our hurt and pain in the first place.
Saturn in Pisces is in a disseminating trine to the South Node in Scorpio and in a Crescent phase sextile to the North Node. The ruler of Saturn, Neptune, is in a first quarter square to Venus in Gemini, the North Node's ruler. With the rulers of the North Node and Saturn square there is a call to learn more deeply about our conditioning and how it has affected our relationships. The inner and other. Where disillusionment may have occurred in the past stemming from how our consciousness has been constructed through our conditioning. There is a need to heal and dissolve the old and bring forth new ways of inwardly relating and to make a choice that feels right and true for each one of us. With all the eclipse energy mixed in with Pluto in Aquarius being the ruler of the Moon and South Node, there can be fear around changing our getting to the bottom of what constitutes our inner security and where we are overly attached to external sources or what we have put ultimate meaning on. With Saturn in a square to Venus, in tandem with this Scorpionic/Aquarian energy we are called to liberate from our idealisms that stem from our conditioning. This means that there is a call to understand how we have learned about what perfection is. How that learning and conditioning has created disillusioning experiences in our lives, and how we have projected those fears onto the present moment instead of being able to live in the truth of the present, here, and now. With Saturn in a disseminating trine to the South Node, we can have information imparted into us if we have the willingness to consciously understand these dynamics and to understand more natural and timeless principles and ways of being and relating as opposed to the conditioning that was set in motion long ago. We have to be willing to penetrate and get to the bottom of our idealism and then to dissolve the old crystallized structures within to make space for new values that are in alignment with our natural truths. Through this willingness to penetrate and get to the bottom of how this has affected our inner psychology and security, we must be willing to take responsibility for our own healing and inner understanding. When we do so, with the sextile from Saturn to the North Node, we then get to implement natural values that are in alignment with whom we naturally are, and there can be an ease of integration. The key is to not get hung up on the past and what is known and to allow ourselves to self-discover and be a willing participant in our own becoming. To go with the flow of evolution instead of against the current of it. Remembering that Pluto in Aquarius, ruling the South Node and the Moon, it wants us to reconnect with our most natural selves, the unconditioned self. To liberate from the chains that keep us separated from the inner community and Divine within. This also speaks to the natural sextile between Pisces and Taurus, the call is to come "home", back to our roots and to ground within our most natural states through observing and objectifying how our conditioning has created the separation between the mundane and God'dess.
There can be tremendous amounts of fear cropping up right now for some because Pluto in Aquarius wants us to objectify what our emotional reality is and what constitutes our inner security. This Lunar Eclipse speaks to being courageous and understanding that fear is natural when we are about to do something new. We can't get rid of the fear, but we can ride the fear into our self-liberation. This Lunar Eclipse speaks to getting to the bottom of our underbelly, allowing ourselves to feel, to explore that which has been repressed and resisted and to create a new norm by radically altering our inner relationship to self, and thus transforming! This can only be done through self-exploration and a deep penetration of all that has come before and how that has affected us.
With Pluto and Uranus being so instrumental to this eclipse some of us can be recalling that which was repressed in order to finally deal with it and to evolve out of it. This can be prior traumatic experiences that were denied With the South Node in Scorpio opposing Mercury in Taurus retrograde we can be reexperiencing dynamics in order to resolve them through the function of understanding where imbalances have been created stemming from how we inwardly relate, and our inner talk to self. There is a call to integrate listening to the inner voice and to trust the intuition in order to cultivate discernment. There is also a call to utilize our feelings that come to the forefront as a gateway into understanding what our emotions are revealing to us. Feelings act as the gateway, when we feel something through our senses within our body, we are called to ground into them and then to explore and get curious about what feelings connect to what emotions. Through doing so we can have more emotional dynamics be revealed to us through the unearthing of that process, this then allows us to understand what constitutes our inner security or where we feel insecure and where that stems from. This helps us to better understand what we are needing and then through this understanding we get to make the choice to meet our own needs as opposed to gaining security in prior ways. This also helps promote emotional and psychological intelligence, thus helping us to become self-reliant on being able to know our emotions and our needs. This then perpetuates healthy self-esteem by allowing us to inwardly validate ourselves and becoming more self-secure through that.
Hi All,
For those who follow the asteroids for the natural feminine, i just noticed there is a amazing exact grand earth trine in the sky with pluto, ceres and vesta.
Much could be said, but right away, what a great moment to devote ourselves to effect the work of RENEWAL and REBIRTH since this is right at Summer Solstice and the new moon! Amazon is conjunct Ceres and also part of the trine and in exact trine to Saturn, while the Sun is exact to Juno. Current moon in cancer trine neptune and sextile ceres and vesta makes for this beautiful Kite in the skies - whatever it is that the pluto moon oppositon brings front and center we can always balance that with dreaming and acting on that which it can move our lives forward and renewed. What a perfect moment to Rise! The pluto trine Ceres is symbolically very important relative to healing and coming back from deep the underground and enjoy a new cycle of the Sun. This is the time to enjoy that. With the juno sun in gemini t-square the ceres and neptune i'm inclined to say the skies invite us to shed whatever alliance is getting in the away of positive renewal and not to be afraid to re-start again even if that means going on one's own (mercury, the ruler, is too t-square amazon and saturn - pass the blocks and trust new ideas or alliances even if that means an alliance with a new version of ourselves!)
What a great time to put the structure down for a new cycle where recovering something from the past (pluto rx last passage to saturn starting to align with the perfect square to the nodes) might be useful to built something new.
Whishes of a beautiful summer solstice to All,
Helena
