Clarifying Relive/Fruition with South Node Conjunctions

Hi Rad,

This is a question I've been sitting with for a while. We know the teachings that planets on the SN of the Moon can correlate to 1 of 3 possibilities:

Relive Resolve
Fruition dynamics
Combination of both

And we've learned that you can't just look at the chart to determine which is the case, you'd have to observe its reality for the individual soul.

My question is, do these three possible conditions apply equally to both planets in a new phase conjunction with the SN as well as balsamic conjunction with the SN? Here's my understand that I'd like to check by you:

I understand that balsamic has an inherent fruitive quality to it. Balsamic will also bring forward whatever relive and resolve dynamcis are necessary for completion of the cycle. So, I can easily recognize these three conditions for balasmic conjunctions.

In regards to new phase however that almost feels like a bit of a different story. Here, the old cylce had already been completed and the soul is starting a new cycle continuting from where it left off in the past. The intent is to move forward in a new way now. There is a strong familariarity/memory of the past and the tendency to try to re-create old conditions, however the new phase conjunction says the soul needs to move forward now. Obviously the gifts of the past will there, as well as latent strong identifications. But it's not clear to me that this is the same as fruition and relive/resolve. Will you please clarify this for me?

Hi Ari,

By the fact of having a planet or planets on the SN of the Moon in a new phase means that the reliving, fruition, or combination of both will occur through creating NEW ways of fullfilling the evolutionary and karmic need for this intention to take place.

Thank you Rad and sorry for my delay - been traveling with my family.

I'd like to share what I understand with a generalized example and request your feedback.

Let's take Mercury on the SN new phase. Be it relive or fruitive dynamics, it's all to serve the souls intention to proceed with ways of linearly organizing reality and gathering knowledge in a new way that serves the souls evolutionary growth.

If in Scorpio, a relive dynamic in general could express as obsession with probing and gathering information about others based on a psychological sense of weakness within oneself. The key would be to learn how to engage that Mercury function, to learn and direct the mind, in ways that will deepen the souls own psychological self-knowledge as it begins an entirely new evolutionary cycle. Thus being drawn to various studies and sources of information that will continue to support the soul in this way.

In terms of fruition during the new phase, we are looking at an existing intellectual framework and perhaps ability, to some helpful extent, to identify psychological dynamics within oneself that this soul can utilize to continue on its evolutionary path. Or continuing with various studies, or forms of mental concentration, this soul had already begun to engage with etc.

In all cases, this is the SN we are looking at, so the point is to integarate and move on from the past in a new way - to not get stuck there.

VS relive or fruition during balsamic phase - here there's the need to bring a cycle to a close, so the actual lived experience in balsamic is different because various dynamics need to be completed before the soul can continue onwards: balsamic, surrendering, giving oneself over to the completion of a karmic cycle.

If all this is an accurate understanding, I might have another clarification point. But I'll await your feedback first.

Thank you for your reply. I think you may have missed my response from a couple weeks ago below. However I feel I understand this now and there is no need to respond to it unless you feel to clarify something. All I did was give an example and request your feedback.

The question I'd like to ask now is more broad. What itself actually determines the completion of a cyc le? If it's possible to still have unresolved karmic stuff from the past, even in a new cycle, then clearly the completion of a cycle isn't implict to actually resolving specific complexes.

Is it more like the setting of the objective experinece of the Sun setting? It sets, whether or not we are there to see it, or regardless of our personal relationship to it. It's just the cycle that is. In other words, is it that these cycles have their own intelligence, their own flow, built into the intelligence of creation in a Uranian kind of what, and is not at all dependent upon our cooperation or resistance?

When I tune in about this, I recognize this when I think of transits. The transiting planets are constantly unfolding, they don't slow down or speed up to accomodate to our own cooperation or resistance.

I'm appreciative of any insights you feel to offer on this.

The beginning of any cycle correlates to evolutionary intentions that the Soul has created for itself relative to the ongoing evolutionary journey of the Soul itself in total. When those intentions of any new cycle have been fulfilled it is then completed.

For a any new cycle to be completed, from new phase through the balsamic phase, requires the the Soul makes the conscious choices that reflect the intentions within the cycle itself: it nother words it doesn't just complete itself without those conscious choices.
