Hello Rad and All,
I have a question about two charts I was looking at in regard to Chiron and want to see if what I am feeling about what I saw is accurate or if I am headed in the right direction with my understanding. What I noticed is that in the two specific charts that I was looking at, family members (a daughter and parent) one had Chiron in Cancer and the other had Chiron in Capricorn. They opposed each other within 1°. When Chiron in synastry is opposing each other, could this be where both have gone back and forth creating a wound for each other? From a general perspective?
Also, I very much have a deep interest in helping souls empower themselves through their trauma and to utilize that to transform, in psychology it is called post traumatic growth. I feel like Chiron would be utilized for this in helping clients understand their hurt/wound/trauma and can actually help point them in the right direction to post traumatic growth through creating a different awareness regarding where one does feel wounded. Would this be accurate?
Much Love and Gratitude,
Jordyn
Hi Jordyn,

Yes, Make sure to check to aspects between the planetary rulers of their Chiron's, Saturn and the Moon in this case, for the aspects between then via the synastry of the two. This will give you additional information about how their Chiron's have interacted with one another.

Yes, but from an EA point of view that different awareness should include WHY they have created whatever the wound has been in the first place. That why of course goes beyond Chiron itself and involves the entire EA paradigm which a specific focus on the underlying archetype of trauma itself: Uranus, the 11th House, and Aquarius.

Hi Jordyn,
Spiritual masochism involves the archetype of martyrdom: sacrificing for something larger than oneself. So the example you made would seem to reflect that.
