Hi there everyone, another question that has recently come to mind --If the Cancer/Capricorn axis correlates to gender switching can it also speak to racial switching? What I mean is, can this axis speak to someone's switch from one race to another both in the ancient sense of the many past lives lived, but also in the sense of the more recent races that appear in a person's family tree?
Many thanks!
Sarah
Hi Sarah,
I'm editing my original response to clarify where I was misleading. In my original response I said it does not correspond to switching, and that was incorrect. What I was thinking when I said that, was not in the same binary way that one might switch between male and female. And of course it does correspond to the possibility of the soul switching race, as I described in the example below, as well as being born into a different society or culture etc. All of that corresponds to the Cap/10th house archetype.
Some context from JWG that Kristin sent to me on race:
From my original response:
There are many signatures that can point to the possibility of various racial or cultural dynamics that the soul is manifesting for whatever evolutionary reason. For example Jupiter in Pisces in the 10th can speak to a soul who came into a family whose ancestors had to hide (Pisces) their religious beleifs (Jupiter) due to the oppressive laws of the country/nation they were living in. Just as much as it can speak to migration from one part of the world to another part of the world where people have a different skin color entirely. There are many examples where issues of race as well as skin color, culture etc. would be relevant to the soul's journey.
Hi Sarah,
I just amended my response to you along with an explanation of the correlation between race and the 10th house/Capricorn archetype from JWG.
Ah, the information you've added is very helpful. Thank you, Ari!
Hi Sarah & All,
While attending my first EA School back in 1999, JWG shared a most recent past life of mine that reflects switching between races and cultures. More importantly, WHY?
(I will attach a chart for teaching purposes)
Race and skin color connects to the sign of Capricorn/ Saturn/10th house. The Moon represents one's family of origin, the ego, and the early life imprinting.
Key symbols:
* Saturn in the 9th House in Pisces squaring the Nodes.
*Moon in Aries in the 10th House
* Mars, ruler of the 10th House Moon, in Capricorn in the 7th
* Venus, ruler of Intercepted 4th House, in Capricorn in the 7th
This skipped step of Saturn in Pisces in the 9th House is linked with hiding within families/cultures to assure survival after hundreds of years of persecution of my nature.
In the most recent life, my parents were white missionaries (9th) traveling from east to west by covered wagon (Pluto 3rd, ruler Mercury in Sagittarius on the South Node, Jupiter in Gemini in the 12th, North Node in Gemini).
While traveling west, the family wagon was adducted by Indians, and my family was wiped out (North Node in the 11th & Pluto conjunct Uranus).
Given that we were still children, my brother's life and mine were spared (Pluto in the 3rd trine Mars in Capricorn, ruler of the Moon in Aries). We were then were raised by the Lakote Tribe. White skin children raised by brown-skinned culture.
After many years living as a Native American in white skin, including marrying a Lakota Indian and having a child, the white man returned at some point to drag me back to white culture, and I was torn apart again from my family, this time my brown skin family.
The skipped steps here represent the flip flopping back and forth between cultures, as well as Mars and Venus in Capricorn in the 7th, both rule the Moon and intercepted 4th house respectively. One culture represents my wild nature within tribe living and the other represents total patriarchal suppression.
The running and hiding can be seen with the Gemini ( running ) and Pisces ( hiding) symbolism. When the Soul is working its way back HOME to itself, it can take lifetimes, in part, because of running into survival scenarios such as these, and the need to feel secure.
Even in this life, I was born into a religious family, my father worked in the church,
( same parents as most recent past life ~ we pick up where we left off) . And at 33, I found my way back home, thanks to EA.
Let me know if anyone has any questions.
~Kristin
